Solar Systems Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

The Solar System Cleaning Technician is a general laborer responsible for cleaning Solar arrays. Hired candidates will be working closely with a team to inspect, clean and maintain commercial system systems on a routine basis safely and successfully.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of solar arrays for commercial facilities

  • Inspect solar arrays for damage and documenting all findings

  • Maintenance of all solar cleaning equipment

  • Work requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous, substances and loud noise levels.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School diploma or a GED certificate.

  • 2+ years of previous solar installation experience preferred but not required.

  • Electrical and or roofing experience preferred but not required.

  • Must have a full range of mobility in upper and lower body; ability to work in various positions and environments.

  • Ability to lift, pull and push materials and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service.

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Good Attendance.

  • Valid ID/Driver's License with a clean driving record.

  • Willingness to work long hours, often in unpleasant weather conditions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge on equipment, materials, and supplies used for cleaning solar panel maintenance.

  • 1 year of construction experience is recommended.

  • Highly focused, organized, motivated & passionate individual.

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and regulations.

  • Ability to operate equipment such as: Scissor Lists, Boom Lifts etc.
